Before You Book

How To Prepare For Your Yellow Wash Appointment

A simple checklist to help your exterior cleaning appointment go smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

A little preparation goes a long way. Here’s what you can do before we arrive for your house wash, window cleaning, roof cleaning, or other exterior cleaning service to help everything go smoothly.

Before We Arrive

  • Close all windows and doors.
  • Move vehicles away from the work area.
  • Bring in or secure light outdoor items.
  • Clear pathways to the areas being cleaned.
  • Keep pets inside during the visit.
  • Let us know about any damaged surfaces, leaks, loose siding, or sensitive areas.

Water, Power & Access

  • Make sure an exterior water source is available and turned on.
  • Make sure a functional power outlet is available.
  • Ensure gates are unlocked if access is needed.
  • Clear the areas around siding, windows, decks, driveways, walkways, and entry points.
  • Let us know if there are access restrictions, locked areas, tenants, pets, or parking limitations.

On The Day Of Service

  • You do not always need to be home, but it is highly recommended.
  • If you are home, please remain inside during the cleaning.
  • Avoid entering or leaving the property while washing is in progress.
  • We will work carefully around your property and communicate if we notice any issues.
  • Final walkthroughs or photo updates may be provided when needed.

Pre-Wash Inspection

Before starting, our team completes a pre-wash 25-point inspection of the property. This includes pictures, notes, and documentation of visible property conditions before the cleaning begins.

Rental Properties

If this is a rental property, it is the landlord or property manager’s responsibility to notify the tenants before the scheduled cleaning and make sure the property is ready for service.

Important Scheduling Note

If a scheduled cleaning cannot be started because the property is not ready, an additional charge may be added. This can include issues such as no water access, no functional power outlet, locked gates, open windows, tenant access issues, vehicles blocking the work area, or other preventable delays.

Good To Know

1

Soft washing is used where appropriate.

2

Results can vary depending on surface condition.

3

Safety and property protection are always a priority.
